Hello! We are looking to hire someone as a personal/business assistant. This person will help us to accomplish tasks that we have less and less time to complete ourselves. These tasks include things like online research, email management, data gathering/entry, phone calls, and some shopping/errand running. We are thinking it would be no more than 5-20 hours a week. Hours are completely flexible, though some items will require timely completion. We plan to pay either by the project (larger tasks) or by time at $20/hour (for smaller tasks).
We think this might be well-suited for a college or grad student who is looking to make some money part-time. But anyone is welcome to apply! We’d prefer someone who is comfortable communicating by phone, has a professional demeanor, basic spreadsheet capability (google sheets or excel), is a google search phenom and who’s ready to start right away!
If you or someone you know is interested, please have them text
me on 620-269-8067 or send an email to dl020822@aol.com with “Personal/Business Assistant” in the subject line and the following 3 things:
1. Name
2. Resume
3. One example of why you’re great for this role
Thanks!
David Lifschitz
This appears (to me) to be one of the best possible jobs a college student could get. You may not realize it, but his is a very "resume worthy" job.
My guess is that someone who is good on the computer could get the tasks done in less time than is posted.
Not one person it seems even expressed interest and that is a real shame. I have posted on here for working on my lawn, landscaping, and in general, sort of a handyman and I can teach the person anything I requested. But mine is more labor intensive and this is more brain and simply being on time and reliable.
I had to pay for all of my college expenses and normally had to have two jobs and also considerable help from the schools I was attending.
I hope some reliable and smart students read this and give this gentleman a call to discuss maybe the best job one could have while in school and I suspect could learn considerable amount of different things that would be useful in our life.
