How Have College Students Adapted to the Pandemic?
College life can get hectic sometimes. With so many students and so many things going on all at once, things can sometimes get out of control. Now, keep in mind that we're talking about college as if we were living in a normal time.
The only problem is that we are living in the opposite of a normal time with a global pandemic.
When the pandemic hit us in Early 2020, college students were forced to return to their homes to ensure that they would not spread the virus as college towns are always packed with students close together in dorms.
Additionally, these students had to adapt to a new format of classes with online classes instead of in-person. Finally, many of these students who had jobs or had internships lined up for the upcoming summer had to either leave or cancel their plans because of COVID-19. All in all, you can see that it was not easy for these students.
So, with it being just over a year since the pandemic hit us, how have students adapted?
Firstly, things have definitely improved as students are starting to return to campuses, although a majority of classes are still online. Secondly, businesses and companies have also adapted so students are starting to get more opportunities for work and internships again.
